Agrale exhibits the new generation of Marruá AM300 4x4 in the 8th National Seminar on Transport in the Electric Energy Sector (Setrel), held on June 15th and 16th in the city of Indaiatuba – São Paulo. The displayed vehicle has been specially equipped to assist the municipalities and energy companies in maintaining networks in hard to reach locations.

According to José Alberto Matos, marketing manager of Agrale, the company takes advantage of the event to present the second model of the new generation of Marruá utilities. "The new generation of Marruá that we are presenting underwent a major overhaul while maintaining its productivity and low operating cost characteristics. Because of its attributes, the AM300 model meets the requirements of municipalities and energy companies that need to operate in rough terrain. With a TGW of 13200 lb, it offers flexibility and robustness for the daily operations in the field", explains the executive.

The new generation of Agrale Marruá 4x4 incorporates major changes and aesthetic developments that make it more appealing and attractive without losing its established visual identity and outstanding off-road performance.

The Marruá AM300 received new engine hood and doors with larger opening angle, facilitating access to the vehicle and maintenance and providing a better finish. Other highlights are the new optical assemblies and the front fender, which enhance the vehicle’s strength and robustness feel.

Internally, the Marruá got a new dashboard, enhancing its ergonomics, space, comfort and modernity as well as having an on-board computer and auto pilot.

The Agrale Marruá AM300 is equipped with the 150 hp Cummins ISF 2.8 diesel engine with SCR system for post-treatment of exhaust gases and five-gear Eaton manual transmission transfer case with low gears. It also sports ABS and EBD brake systems, which offer more safety and greater control while driving, especially in critical situations.

With 18ft 9in of total length, the Marruá utility has hydraulic steering and a 26 gallon fuel tank. The model has an attack angle of 54º, a retreat angle of 28º, maximum slope of 60% and Maximum Traction Capacity (MTC) of 19842 lb.

The Marruá AM300 places itself as a differentiated offer in the market, ideal for operations that require robust models and for severe off-road applications such as mining, rural electrification, public safety, firefighting, reforestation and other activities.
